Once you have a Prospect added to a Track they move from Prospect to Leads. You can also add a Team member to a Track. But then what? How do you actually action the first email / communication / step of any given Track you place a contact on?
Simple! Here's how:
1) Add your Prospect or Team member to a Track at any given step you want to place them on:
2) Next go find your contact again in Leads (because once you add a Prospect to a Track they now move to Leads) or in Teams:
You will see that there is a "lit up" or coloured in icon next to your contacts name which represents the Step you placed them on the Track you added them to. In this case, I have added Carol Groves to my LeadTrack at the Introduction step. When the icon is lit up or coloured in this means that the step has not yet been actioned. I still need to send her the email of that step or "action" that step. LeadTrain will prompt you to choose how you which to proceed with this step when you click on that icon in the Step column:
So now LeadTrain is asking me how I want to proceed with the Introduction step I put Carol on. I can choose to action this step via email, texting (only on the Mobile App), by phone or in person.
I can also choose to Move to Next step if I don't want to send her this step or I can Snooze this step and let LeadTrain remind me to action it at a later time.
Let's choose to action this step via EMAIL. So I will click the first icon (the email icon) and this window will come up which is the saved template of the Introduction Step of this particular Track:
Then you click SEND and voila! Your contact has now received the first email of the Track you put them on :)
